Say g’day (or nǐ hǎo or guten Tag and kia ora) to BABBEL, an online language learning app designed for of all levels. Team members can choose from 14 different languages, delivered through award-winning quick lessons, live online classes, podcasts and more.

GO MAD

At TFE Hotels, MAD stands for Make a Difference. GO MAD is all about empowering our people with the inspiration, confidence and skills to do something different and create memorable moments for our guests – otherwise known as MAD Moments. Through this program, you’ll be empowered with the inspiration, confidence and skills to step outside your comfort zone and think creatively about customer loyalty instead. GO MAD is available to all our people online, and in workshops for our guest-facing team members.

ACADEME

Welcome to ACADEME, TFE Hotels’ exclusive fast-track management program to develop our leaders of tomorrow with the mentoring, project work, webinars, online learning and regular feedback sessions they need to go places – fast. Successful participants will take part in a 12-month on-the-job learning curriculum customized to their experience and background. The Future Leaders Program aims to develop high performing front line team members to the competency level of or equivalent to a Duty Manager or Supervisor in just one year. The People Leaders Program aims to develop the skills of individuals in leading self and others based on the principles of the Leadership Challenge.

WALK A DAY IN MY SHOES

Walking a day in the shoes of your colleague? No problem with our ‘walk a day in my shoes‘ – initiative. During a 1- Day – shadowing of a position of your choice, you will experience a colleague‘s day in their job. That way you dont only get an idea about  their daily job responsibilities, but you also develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the work of the whole team. We are stronger together!
